May 8, Sunday - Mt. Tabor Reservoir History Walk
Part of the FREE FMTP Urban Nature Series, 2 pm–4 pm - We will walk to the Mt. Tabor Reservoirs and point out the key features and talk about the history of the reservoirs. Old photographs of the reservoir construction will accompany the talk. The system for bringing water to Portland neighborhoods will be covered. Register here.

May 8, Sunday - Native Plants Walk
Part of the FREE FMTP Urban Nature Series, 2 pm–4 pm - Get to know some of the Pacific Northwest native plants you see in Mt. Tabor Park. We’ll take a walk to look at plants that are just emerging in early spring, and talk about some of the restoration efforts we’re using to help improve the ecological health of the park. August 20, Saturday - PDX Adult Soapbox Derby
This popular Portland event is BAAACK! Spend the day cheering for homemade race cars and enjoying food and beverages from local vendors.
