Please Join Us to Celebrate 25 Years of Friends of Mt. Tabor Park. Our 2025 Annual Meeting is coming up and we would love you to join us!

 

When: March 31 at 6:30

Where: Taborspace (5441 SE Belmont St.)

 

We will be celebrating our successes of the last 25 years, highlighting our work in 2024, and sharing exciting plans for the future (Spoiler: Portland Parks & Rec has invited FMTP to submit a proposal for rebuilding the pavilion that was destroyed in the 2024 ice storm.)

 

Keynote speakers will include:

• Dave Hillman, a founding member, to share the origins and history of FMTP;

• City Councilor Steve Novick, District 3 representative and co-chair of the land use committee, to share his vision for the future and challenges facing Portland parks; and,

• Bora Architecture & Interiors, a 65-year old Portland-based design firm that has generously donated their time to help develop the pavilion proposal, to share our initial vision that pays homage to the historical structure while improving functionality.

 

Come for the friends (new and old), the community, the ideas, and the cake!

 

Everyone is welcome, but only dues-paying Friends of Mt. Tabor Park members may cast votes for our board election.
