Visiting the Park

Pedestrians/bicycles: Open every day

5:00 a.m.–midnight

5:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays, when park roads are closed to vehicular traffic.

The main parking lot is located near the north entrance, next to the information kiosk. Some street parking is allowed - please obey posted parking signs.

Bike racks are located near the main parking lot and also at the west/SE Lincoln Street entrance.

Portland Parks & Recreation offers an overview map of the park's trails. We've mapped out three routes ranging from one mile to three miles (available in this brochure), all beginning at the kiosk in the main parking lot. Bicycles are prohibited on the green trail (except roadways). Other maps are available on our Maps page.

Mt. Tabor Park is a short distance from downtown Portland, OR (approximately 3.5 miles due east), and is easily accessible from other areas in the greater Portland region. The park is bounded by SE 72nd on the east, SE Belmont on the north, SE 60th on the west, and SE Division on the south. TriMet bus routes 4, 15, and 71 all have stops on the park’s borders.
